SILVERSTEIN: drop new single INFINITE feat. Aaron Gillespie, announce ninth studio album A BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO DROWN and 20th Anniversary World Tour.

Ontario-based post-hardcore forward thinkers SILVERSTEIN announce the release of their upcoming ninth record A BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO DROWN dropping on March 6th, 2020 via UNFD. Twelve tracks in length, the album follows their 2017 studio album Dead Reflection and re-recorded collection Redux: The First 10 Years dating back to April 2019.

Along with the announcement the band of Josh Bradford, Paul Koehler, Shane Told, Billy Hamilton and Paul Marc Rousseau released lead single INFINITE, featuring Underoath’s vocalist Aaron Gillespie, as one of the guest appearances on the record which also features contributions from New York rapper Princess Nokia, Intervals, Beartooth’s Caleb Shomo and Pierre Bouvier of Simple Plan.

In this song, Silverstein look back at their punk roots, with plenty of catchiness and groove, a brilliant combination of aggression and melody, showing once more the band’s legendary ability to blend their sonic trademark with a modern approach. In A Beautiful Place To Drown, the sound has been pushed into new territories with a wider-reaching impact across different soundscapes, dynamics and styles, and yet achieving cohesion.

The lyrical contents touch on personal and general prospectives, ranging from mental struggles to politics, to the challenges of modern life and their impacts on individuals and society.

With exactly two decades of music under their belts, this year Silverstein celebrate their 20th anniversary with a dedicated 20 Year Anniversary World Tour kicking off in January at Unify Gathering in Australia, followed by headline dates in Manila and Honolulu. The band will return overseas for 2 shows in London, 5 dates across Germany. The North American leg will hit 33 cities across Canada and the United States.
