Dal progressive metalcore 100% made in Italy, i WHERE STARS COLLIDE, un quartetto da Reggio Emilia che si è affacciato ufficialmente sul panorama nel 2015. Dopo aver condiviso il palco con formazioni internazionali del calibro di Loathe, Dreamshade, The Dali Thundering Concept, Novelists FR e Shokran hanno mollato i singoli Freedom e Rage, a cui è seguito di recente il nuovissimo PATH, tre episodi che anticipano l’atteso album di debutto previsto per la fine dell’anno.

Il progressive metalcore del frangente tecnico attinge alle influenze della formazione per mettere in vetrina un prodotto finale che sperimenta con soluzioni melodiche sul versante strumentale e vocale, in congiunzione alla compagine più devastante del suono. I WHERE STARS COLLIDE propongono una formula bilanciata di heaviness e catchiness unita a tematiche significative, e con il terzo singolo alzano l’asticella dell’hype in direzione del nuovo capitolo sonoro in versione lunga.

I WHERE STARS COLLIDE discutono la sfera dell’esistenza umana che ha ispirato il terzo singolo PATH, le tematiche collegate all’ispirazione lirica e condividono la propria visione:

“Con Path riflettiamo sulle difficoltà che si susseguono durante la vita, che rendono faticoso tenere il passo sul “sentiero” dell’esistenza. Il testo è un dialogo con la vita che diventa persona da cui pretendiamo risposte e che pare sordo alle nostre richieste, disinteressato ai nostri bisogni.

Ma noi non ci lasciamo abbattere: continuiamo a cadere e a respirare la solita “polvere” che ci frena, ma ci rialziamo e continuiamo a combattere. I percorsi della vita su cui ci troviamo sembrano sempre simili, ma sono in realtà differenti tra loro, pieni di ostacoli diversi. Tocca a noi capire quale strada è quella giusta per raggiungere la nostra realizzazione. “Path” addolcisce le sonorità e lascia al testo il compito di proseguire la ricerca dei temi trattati in “Freedom” e “Rage” con un approccio differente e più positivo.”
